A toner is a demi-permanent haircolor that fades in 4-6 weeks. It can alter the state of the hair's color and pH levels resulting in smoother, shinier hair. Colorists use it to help cool down, warm up, or darken the shade of your hair. Traditional Partial Highlights mean to foil only the hair on the top sections of the head. This is great for a more natural, “darker underneath” look, or in between appointments for full foils to refresh the most noticed areas. Hairline, Part, Back of Crown Area. In this coloring technique, highlights are hand-painted or “swept” on the surface of random sections of hair. Lightener is painted on, starting midshaft and becoming denser as it moves down to the ends. This is not recommended for clients who are wanting to go very blonde, or stay cooler toned. The Wash and Blowdry includes a shampoo wash, condition, scalp massage, and your choice of round brush blowout, curls, or flat iron. Traditional Full Foil service consists of placing between 45 and 100 foils around the entire head, depending on the person's hair and color goal. A full foil includes foiling underneath your hair.
